Culture & Denomination

According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions in the world. Religion is a collection of cultural systems, belief systems, and worldviews that establishes symbols that relate humanity to spirituality and sometimes, to moral values. While religion is hard to define, one standard model of religion, used in religious studies courses, was proposed by Clifford Geertz, who simply called it a “cultural system”. With all that in mind, we understand people’s views differ from one to another and we are able to personalise services to accommodate your needs.

Whether you prefer a modern service facilitated by a celebrant, or a more traditional service with clergy from different religions, we have a special relationship with many different backgrounds to assist. Our staff will respect your wishes and cultural expectations.

No leaf will be left unturned honouring the memory of your loved one. Music is a large part of cementing a lasting memory and our extensive music library is available for your convenience, this can be beautifully complimented with a photo montage to present a pictorial representation of your loved one’s life.
